Look up unfamiliar words and save useful vocabulary. Use word explanations and corrections to improve the next sentence you write.
A quick start on Mac.
- Install and open TypeAide. Download the Mac app using the link above. Check the App Store for current system requirements.
- Choose an available AI source. Open the app’s AI settings. Configure your compatible service or an available local option, then confirm it is ready.
- Copy a sentence and choose an action. Use the menu bar or a shortcut. For a longer draft, work in the writing workspace.
- Review, then copy the result. Keep the details you intended, adjust the tone, and paste the result into your original app.

If a shortcut is already used by another app, change it in TypeAide Settings. Copy text first when using clipboard actions.
