Write across languages

Choose the output language in Settings. Polish, Reply, and Translate share that preference in supported versions of the app and keyboard.

Your app and keyboard have different roles.

The app gives you space for writing, reviewing, learning, and configuring AI. The optional keyboard brings short writing actions into supported fields in other apps. You can keep your usual keyboard for everyday typing.

Choose an AI source you understand.

Depending on your device and app version, the AI source screen offers local models, your own compatible service, or TypeAide Cloud. Check readiness before generating. An on-device model may need a one-time download and enough available memory.

Local support is model- and device-dependent. Cloud and API requests need network access. The app’s source screen and App Store listing are the best places to check current availability.

Try your first revision.

  1. Open TypeAide and choose your AI source. Complete the setup shown in the app.
  2. Paste a short draft. Choose Polish, Translate, or Reply and check the output language.
  3. Read the result. Compare the meaning, tone, names, and numbers with your original.
  4. Copy, refine, or save. Continue in the app or take the result back to your message or document.

Move at your own pace.

Streaming responses let you follow a result as it arrives. Keep useful drafts and return to them in the app. Review Settings for available sync, history, and data controls; these vary by feature and version.
